Carrie | Maternity session at the farm
Carrie and Ethan have an incredible farm, so as the end of her pregnancy approached, I drove from Atlanta to just outside Mobile Alabama to surprise Carrie with some maternity photos. It was a wonderful time of friendship and fellowship. I can’t even put into words how amazing this family is. Baby Jackson is one lucky little guy to have these two as parents and Brody as his big brother. I can’t wait to meet him!

Connor | Canton GA Newborn Photography
Brothers: they will grow up as friends and playmates. Noise, dirt, and messes will be part of everyday life. Giggles, scraped knees, homemade bike ramps, mud pies, and sword fights with sticks will be the norm. Fart jokes will abound. Just when it seems like exasperation will win, they’ll throw arms around her neck, look deeply into her eyes, and whisper “I love you, mommy”, and her heart will melt.

Fall is finally here in metro Atlanta! Family fun in the creek.
If you look on my website, you’ll see that I advertise to “maternity, newborns, and baby’s first year”. I don’t usually enjoy photographing older children in studio, because lets face it- getting a two year old to sit still, look at the camera, and smile a genuine smile is more than challenging. But I’ll let you in on a little secret- I love love LOVE documenting childhood. Letting kids just be kids. Puddle jumping. Making mud pies. Playing in the rain. I love when parents have reasonable expectations and give me full artistic license to just go have fun with it! I had such a great time playing in the creek with these guys. I think they had a blast as well between the tire swing, throwing rocks, and catching crawfish I think this was an adventure they’ll remember for a long time.
